Most of the sections use What3Words as a location service for drop off, collection and for easy location finding for both parents and with the young people. with this in mind we ask that every parent downloads the free What3Words app from PlayStore or AppStore.
this is especially important for the older sections as we will have drop off and collection in some very random places. we will also use it in the case of any change of collection point to ensure the correct location is sent.
How to use What3Words
- we give you a location in this format ///empire.call.flight (this is the scout hut)
- you then type that into your What3Words app and it will show you the location (this also works with some 3rd party map apps)
- this will get you to the exact location within a 3m square of where you have been asked to be.
